An Art Gallery with a Difference: Situated in Colaba village of South Mumbai, it is approached through a very narrow lane, and has no road frontage. The gallery is located in an old and dilapidated Ground + 1 structure, which was probably one of the village houses. The structure was repaired and restored, including the tiled pitched roof. The limitation of large and thick load bearing walls has been used to advantage for display of paintings. The wood roof trusses, the restored window grilles and wooden staircase add an old world charm to the space. The gallery, office and store room cover an area of 210 sq. m.
