The offices designed for Marriott in Mumbai are simple but refined. The central space is primarily for workstations and the periphery for breakout spaces, meetings rooms and the cafe. There is an evident difference is material, texture and repose when one moves from the primary workspace to the breakout spaces and meeting rooms.
Location: Andheri, Mumbai, India
Project Team: Riyaz Himany, Harshada Pathare
The colors of the office are white and grey, however where there is cove in the ceiling or a hanging light YELLOW has been used. When one enters the space, there is an undulating screen that wraps the reception walls. Wire figures climbing the walls, artwork by Akshay R, adds a playful element to the space.
