GVK International and Domestic Lounges

This is the second lounge on the East side of the Mumbai International Airport, and is located at level 4. In design essence and theme, it is like the lounge on the west side, except the entrance is larger and plush, with hostess desks.

Location: Mumbai, India

Year Completed: 2016

The main lounge, the cultural area, the spa and the bar and dining area are in sync with the west business class lounge, to provide passengers a similar and seamless experience. The plush interiors are in keeping with the design ethos of the Terminal interiors.

The new Domestic Lounge is located at level three of Terminal 2, at the Mumbai International Airport. It is a departure lounge that caters to business class and priority passengers with an area of about 18,000 sq ft.

The planning and theme is like the International Departure Lounges, also designed by ABM Architects. A large welcoming entrance with 3 hostess desks, decorative mirror panelling and a signature art work by renowned artists, Brinda Miller and Sunil Padwal, adorn one wall. The Lounge has 5 distinct sections apart from the entrance foyer, namely the Main Lounge, the Priority lounge, the Spa, the Bar, and dining area. The Lounge has a full-fledged kitchen facility apart from toilets.

Screens based on the lotus flower motif act as separators and the main design feature. With the marble flooring and leather sofas and chairs, the Lounge interiors exude warmth and comfort.
